Many of you know of Queen Elizabeth the II. She was the queen of the United Kingdom and many other regions  from 1952 to 2022. Sadly she has passed away from old age. She died on Thursday afternoon in the Balmoral Castle in the UK last week. Prince Charles, her son, will be taking her place in the throne. 

Queen Elizabeth had been the queen of Great Britain and other regions for 70 years! She was first crowned queen in 1952 when she was 25. Sadly she has only lived up to 96 years old.
