For a long time, the world has had one question: Is it a duck or a rabbit? This age-old optical illusion has been around since 1899, and it was first presented by a psychologist named Joseph Jastrow. Some people see a duck, and some people see a rabbit. The illusion demonstrates that people have different perspectives and that everyone sees the world differently. Most people can see both, but the question is: Which one did you see first?
We asked some students at EMS which one they saw first, and here’s what they said:
Isaiah Vogel said, “rabbit.”
Michael Bunting said, “duck.”
Max Beard said, “duck.”
Mr. Bayer said, “duck.”
Alex Schrock said, “duck.”
Tucker Knecht said, “rabbit.”
Bristol Hirstien said, “I don’t know, maybe a duck.”
Bronwyn Mayo said, “duck.”
Finn Gerst said, “duck.”
Blake Littlejohn said, “rabbit.”
Colin Risk said, “duck.”
