Everyone knows the ceiling course in the gym. The upcoming 5th and 6th graders should be excited. It’s so fun. I remember looking up in the gym wondering if I would ever do it. But I was terrified of heights and I hated those kids of course. Then when 8th grade came around I was dreading trying it. When I climbed the ladder and was up on that platform I will admit I was scared for sure but once I started climbing I was having so much fun. My climbing partner and I had so much fun laughing uncontrollably and trying dare on the course. It was not scary at all, it was a blast. I loved it so much I decided to write this article. So I wanted the history behind it. I interviewed Mr. Bellini below.

Bellini

  1. Where did this idea come from? Mrs. Garber and Mr. king. Many others donated money.
  2. How long have you had it? Over 20 years.
  3. Why do you only let 8th grade go up? We want the grades progress up to it.
  4. Where did you go to get this? Cliffs and Cables in Chicago.

Then I asked some 7th graders and an 8th grader who climbed. Their answers are below.

Noah Purfield

  2. What’s your favorite job? climbing
